“GEORGIE”
(4.5.98 - 26.6.07)
Georgie was our foundation bitch and gave us so many fantastic memories. Also known as “Ninnie the Brave” for her bravado and bark, she would quickly come to order with a mention of “the paper”.
Great Grandmother Georgie did not have a mean bone in her body and just loved being with us and playing with all of her outstanding offspring.
As a younger dog on many occasions she disappeared into the bushland around our area only to emerge with a bird in her mouth and a desperation to show us her prize.
She was a real character and endeared herself to all who came to know her – her annoying whine as she shuffled around us with clothing or shoes in her mouth; the anxious chattering of teeth as she waited to receive her dinner at night which she then ate with tail wagging in sheer delight and the beautiful kisses and “bites” of affection that she always gave to us.
She was our bed mate and our best mate.
She was taken from us all too early.
Thank you, Georgie Quinn, for bringing so much love and fun into our lives. Thank you for your wonderful legacy – we will remember and love you forever.
Your white cross is not mute in the soil.
