Tanashka Red Ochre Rubee AVA Hip Score: 1:2 Hermy is a real character and his friendly, goofy demeanour will almost bring a tear to your eye. It is important for him to take in all of his surroundings. Hermy will never die wondering. He is always the first one to put that nose of his where it simply doesn't belong! As a young dog Herman was awarded Best Puppy in Show at the NSW Hungarian Vizsla Specialty Club Show on 11th April, 2004 under American Judge and Gundog Specialist, Mrs. Paula Nykiel (USA). The Judge critiqued Herman as follows: Young puppy of six months, nice outline, good breed type, moved well. Hermy has the most interesting head of all of our Vizslas. He was also awarded Junior in Show at the NSW Hungarian Vizsla Club Specialty Show on the 27 March, 2005 under renowned Breed Specialist Mrs. Jackie Perkins (UK) Gardenway Vizslas. The Judge critiqued Herman as follows: "Strong dog - well made and good colour. Good depth of chest and plenty of bone. Well angulated fore and aft, but won on overall movement." The judge noted that Herman is "slightly Roman nosed". We can vouch for this - his nose roams all over our persons! Heil Herman - the Caesar of all Vizslas! After two years Hermy has only recently just stepped back into the show ring as if nothing had changed and on his first outing was awarded Open in Group at Cessnock (NSW) in two consecutive shows. Hermy was also placed first in his class at the NSW Hungarian Vizsla Club Specialty Show on Saturday, 11th October 2008. On that same day he gained an F.C.I. of "EXCELLENT" from Judge, Dr Alex Linneweber (Germany). The Judge critiqued Herman as follows: 5 year old large framed dog and typical male with large typical head. Nose shows bump with very strong muzzle and strong skull. Smaller ear leathers set normally. Stronger neck set on powerful back which goes to strong and well developed pelvis including strong croup. Thinner tail correctly set. Upstanding deep chest. Shows harmonious picture with underline and belly. Hindquarters are well angulated and strongly muscled. Forequarters are correctly set on and angulated. Short coat dense, thick and hard. Movement is powerful and ground covering, far reaching with good drive and meets the harmonious appearance of the dog. FCI Grading – Excellent |
