RUBISS Aust Ch Tanashka Korona Ace
was awarded Intermediate in Show,
Victorian Hungarian Vizsla Club Sp. Show 2/11/08 under
Judge, Mrs Susan Badick (Canada).
Again Ace was extremely well handled by the delightful, Nikki Zullo.

Ace gained an FCI Grading of "EXCELLENT" under

whilst 2 other Tanashka Hungarian Vizslas were an FCI Grading of
"EXCELLENT" 2 others were graded "VERY GOOD".

Best In Group under Judge, Mr Satoshi Bessho, (Japan) at
Sydney Kennel Club Championship Show 03/08/08.
Ace was exceptionally well handled by Nikki Zullo.

Some of our Hungarian Vizslas are currently BLOOD DONORS at the
Sydney University Veterinary Campus, Cobbitty, NSW.
There is a canine blood shortage at present for dogs at risk.
We are happy to support this programme as we would like to be
supported if our dogs were at risk.
The Vizsla is a Hunter, Pointer and Retriever (HPR).
As breeders at Tanashka Kennels our philosophy is underpinned
by rigorous and meticulous research of bloodlines available,
both Australian Bred and imported, and the application of this to
our breeding programme.
Our dogs have met many people who visit our property and they love the
interaction with them. Each person who meets our dogs begin to
understand what is needed to be a Vizsla owner.
Time, patience, indulgence and love are the prerequisites.
From this we endeavour to produce dogs that capture
the essence of the breed. Our Vizslas are selectively bred for
temperament and soundness of health.
BELOW IS MY SPECIAL GIRL, LANA, WHAT A LOVELY DOG.
Our puppies are reared in an environment where socialisation and
breed specific characteristics are enhanced.
We think that our dogs enjoy a total satisfaction situation.
They are allowed to run free and be themselves.
As you venture into our site you will see that each one of
our dogs has it's own personality.
We are located on a one acre property on the fringes of
Sydney in Camden, New South Wales, Australia.
Our prefix "Tanashka" has it's origins from the
pedigree of our foundation bitch "GEORGIE"

Our dogs, above everything, are our pets.

It is surmised that the russet gold colour of the Vizsla developed when the
Magyars, in their journeys and conquests,
crossbred their hunting dogs with yellow Turkish pointing dogs
and that the word Vizsla is derived from the
Turkish (Ugrian) word meaning "to seek".
'Malachy' (photo on the right) is a Special Champion.
She is owned and loved by Sian Hine and family.
