THE SMOKO  The Smoko is sewn on machine, by hand, with handfinished shawl collar. Its outer shell is striking patterned cotton corduroy. The interior is polarfleece lining, as is the shawl collar (if shawl collars are good enough for Country Road and Ralph Lauren, they’re good enough for gundogs). The coat is secured by ties that come under the waist and tie in a neat bow on top of the dog’s back.
These coats are ideal for your dog running around or relaxing in the dry, away from flames. For example, relaxing in an armchair, with a good book in the evening.
The original Smoko is known as La Vie en Rose – a fine navy corduroy bearing small elegant roses in either turquoise and pale blue, or hot and pale pink. Limited editions of other patterns available from time to time for an additional $10 per Smoko. Examples are modelled below on dogs ranging from 6 months in age to 7 years of age (all coats shown are the same size). Smokos are priced at $50 - $60 each plus shipping (usually approx $6 within Australia). If you would prefer to supply an alternative corduroy, or have special size requirements, we will be happy to discuss and come to an arrangment.
